Looking for Great Summer Music Programs? Los Angeles College of Music, Once LAMA, Lets You Learn With All-Star Musicians!

If you’re looking for a great summer music program, Los Angeles College of Music (LACM), formerly known as LAMA, has awesome opportunities!  LACM Summer Xperience offers one-of-a-kind programs for performers, songwriters, producers, and drummers!

Summer Xperience is an unbelievable way to spend a week (or even 2 weeks!) of your summer that you’ll never forget. It’s a chance to network, bond, and create lasting friendships with peers that share your love for music. The Music Performance program is instrument-specific and offers technique for guitar, bass, drums or vocalists. Many classes take place in the new state-of-the-art professional recording studio and these programs provides panels, seminars, and open counseling.   In-class private lessons, sessions with artists, managers and producers, open counseling and band performances with other students are just a few of the activities that go on. When class ends there’s more to do at night like optional rehearsals, open jams and special events.  At the end of the class, you won’t leave empty handed! You’ll record and be filmed performing cover songs and originals in LACM’s 200-seat Performance Hall. How cool is that?

If you are passionate about music and want to join others that feel the same way, you shouldn’t pass up this amazing opportunity! There is Music Production and Music Performance in week 1, and Songwriting and Drummers’ Reality Camp in week 2. The deadline is May 1, 2014, so check out www.lacm.edu/summer-xperience at:  to learn more and sign up!
