To Collect Music Royalties From Your YouTube Videos Embed An ISRC Number In Your Songs

Did you know that musicians who post YouTube videos for their music need an ISRC code? An ISRC code tracks additional royalties generated from your music videos. But first you must embed an ISRC code into the master file of your YouTube video!

Although YouTube pays you its own royalty from advertisements, it is possible to collect additional royalties when you use an ISRC code. This allows your YouTube videos for music to become more profitable!  The ISRC also applies to earning royalties on other sites besides YouTube. The first step is purchasing an ISRC code from an authorized vendor and having them embed it into the master file of your video along with your metadata. Once embedded, the ISRC code is tracked for each time the video is streamed for which you get paid. For more information click this link: YouTube ( at: bit.ly/ISRCYouTube )

Web ‘n Retail is licensed by the RIAA to issue and embed ISRC numbers into your master audio and music video files.  They have been in business for over 25 years helping musicians with specific challenges including marketing campaigns, ISRC code services and more.  For additional information, click here: www.MusicMarketingBYWebnRetail.com/ISRC-Number

Make Money From Your Music Videos on Social Media Sites Like Instagram But You Need an ISRC Number!

Did you know that you can get paid for your music or lyric videos that you post on Instagram? But only if you have an ISRC number embedded into the master file. An ISRC number tracks your playable streams turning your quality work into revenue or in other words, royalties. If you use Instagram to promote your music then you definitely don’t want to miss out on this!

Music and lyric videos in the past were considered for promotional use only. This has evolved along with the collection of royalties. You can now collect additional royalties from music videos, and lyric videos on streaming platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. The only requirement is to have an embedded ISRC code in those videos. ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is an essential part of your master file in order for you to collect royalties. The ISRC number is tracked online and is reported to your distributor and those distributors would send out royalties accordingly. For more information, check with your distributors and PROs (Performing Rights Organization). You can also learn more info on YouTube

To add an ISRC Code to your master audio and music video files, you must get one from an RIAA  licensed vendor. Web ‘n Retail is licensed to do so. In addition, Web n’ Retail is a music marketing agency and has helped musicians with marketing campaigns for over 25 years. Country Pop Artist Eileen Carey Welcomes October with San Diego Show

On October 10th, country pop fans of artists such as Keith Urban and Leann Rimes will have the opportunity to experience Eileen Carey live. She is a renowned vocalist who will be performing at the House of Blues in San Diego as part of the RAW Artist Showcase, beginning at 6:00pm, displaying all of her power and flair. Music Connection Magazine’s review of her previous show at the Whisky A Go Go said of Carey’s performance:

“The crowd was hooked from the moment “Hearts of Time” kicked off the night. Carey’s sassy, yet humble, stage demeanor gave off Gretchen Wilson meets Miranda Lambert vibes. [The crowd] engaged in hand clapping, line dancing and singing along … She’s not afraid to voice her thoughts and opinions. [The performance was] a perfect blend of upbeat and lower-tempo tracks showcasing her experience and versatility with ease, so much so that it came as a shock when her set was about to end.”

You really should capitalize on this opportunity to see the woman Elmore Magazine dubbed “a true musical chameleon who blends pop and rock and country influences with ease,” in person. Her unbeatable energy and charisma is uniquely refreshing, and all those in attendance of the showcase will bear witness to these traits. Her music resonates with all audiences with its engaging lyrics and captivating instrumental accompaniment.

For those not around the San Diego area next week, you can still experience Eileen Carey’s excellence. She recently released the official music video to her hit track “That Town.” The video illuminates the common struggle so many of us experience of trying to decide whether to leave the safety of our hometowns for the opportunities of the real-world, or to remain in our comfort zones. The music video carries a light mood with kids in Los Angeles embracing their bravery and entering the world outside of home.

To watch the “That Town” official video, check it out on YouTube. Other ways you can explore the talents of Eileen Carey are via Spotify. Also, to stay updated on all things Eileen Carey, visit her website and follow her Facebook and Instagram.

The Way of a Woman by Jan Daley Enters Jazz Billboard Charts with Incredible Placements!

Jan Daley’s “The Way of a Woman” smooth jazz album just debuted at #6 on the Billboard Jazz Chart and #5 on the Billboard Traditional Jazz Chart. Standing between Jan and the #1 chart positions are less than 5 other artists’ releases, most notably Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Thelonious Monk and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. This is quite an accomplishment and a well deserved one at that for this independent artist whose career has spanned over five decades. She started off as the “singing canary” in her early twenties on Bob Hope’s USO Tour and has performed with countless huge names in both the acting and singing world. Additionally she also wore the crown as Miss California (yes, it was “Miss” Back then!) while attending college.

Her newest album stands out as yet another phenomenal release in a seemingly endless stream of phenomenal world-class smooth jazz. With six original tunes and five brilliantly adapted covers, “The Way of a Woman” is well worth a listen for even those who don’t normally listen to smooth jazz. If you haven’t done so yet, check out “The Way of a Woman” on iTunes.

If that’s not enough Jan for you, you can download the title song from her EP “When Sunny Gets Blue” FOR FREE from Noisetrade. To learn more about Daley and to keep up with her latest updates, check out her Facebook and her official website here: www.jandaley.com/.

Dave Bargeron and Geoff Alpert Bring Trombones Back to Popular Music

Trombones have long been under-utilized in music today. However, with dedicated players like Geoff Alpert and Dave Bargeron becoming more well known, the trombone may yet come back to the foreground. Geoff Alpert’s smooth jazz music has come from a long path of struggle. He lost his wife to cancer in 2002 after a long hiatus from music and, after this horrible event, found his way back to the musical community. The support he received from Darryl Williams and Gail Johnson allowed him to output his emotion and passion into smooth jazz music. He blended this with his love for the martial art Ken-Ka-Kung Fu and found a truly inspired fusion in his music.

The incredible way that Geoff works smooth jazz into R&B, pop, latin and funk grooves is remarkable and that he does this all with the trombone in the forefront of the sound is even more impressive. If you haven’t yet, you can listen to the album on iTunes, CD Baby  and Amazon.

Be sure to keep up with Geoff on Facebook, TwitterReverbnation and his official website www.GeoffAlpert.com for any updates.

Louis Armstrongs Well Deserved Praise of Jan Daleys Smooth Jazz Music

In the words of the great Louis Armstrong: She’s got a, “great big beautiful voice.”  And she really does.  What makes Jan Daley’s music so phenomenal, however, is her versatility.  She can put on a performance full of bravado and the next second move onto a tender smooth jazz ballad that would make the most stoic listener’s emotions swell.
