Smooth Jazz Singer Jan Daleys New Album The Way of a Woman is Outstanding

Jan Daley has been working hard in the music industry for many years now.  Her dedication and hard work are apparent with every release she puts out.  Her thoughtful musical ideas and talented accompanists are present in every track that bears her name and she has gained quite a reputation of releasing only the highest quality music.

Daley has always been a smooth jazz artist first and foremost but was also involved in USO tours with Bob Hope as well as in the movie Forrest Gump (seen performing in the aforementioned USO tours) where she shared the screen with Bruce Willis, Peter Fonda, Alec Baldwin and Tom Hanks.

Jan creates smooth jazz that is thoughtful and expertly executed.  Her latest album “The Way of a Woman” is no exception.  Her knack for swooning vocals, intricately written smooth jazz arrangements and pouring her heart into a performance are shown time and time again with every release she puts out and every show she puts on. You can give her new album a listen on iTunes.

Jan Daleys Spectacular When Sunny Gets Blue Video

Jan Daley’s single “When Sunny Gets Blue” is set to a beautiful video produced by Jon Burk.  Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1GlfFwjSrY.  The video compliments Daley’s exceptional smooth jazz vocals with a touching collection of classic photos.  Jan Daley’s swooning smooth jazz voice alone will send shivers down your spine.

Daley attests much of her success to her songwriting coach Jack Segal who originally wrote When Sunny Gets Blue and ended up co-producing the EP with Jan.  Jan remembers how Segal and Michael B. Sutton (CEO of iMerica Entertainment LLC) said to her, “with that voice, you’ve got to record this.”

Don’t forget to look out for Jan’s brand new album “The Way of a Woman” which is set to be released March 31.  It will complete her five-song EP “When Sunny Gets Blue” with six more unreleased smooth jazz tunes.  It is going to be an incredible album.

Smooth Jazz Icon Jan Daleys The Way of a Woman New Release this Spring

This March 31, Jan Daley will release the next great smooth jazz album titled  “The Way of a Woman.”  It builds upon her previously released five-track EP “When Sunny Gets Blue” with six brand new tracks inspired by music from the Great American Songbook (music of the early 20th century by prominent artists such as Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hammerstein and others).  Jan Daley has worked with many of these artists and was under the mentorship of the great Jack Segal for many years before he died.  Jan Daley even performed with Bob Hope back in his days of touring the USO.

Daley’s experience is unmatched in the smooth jazz scene and she consistently continues to release some of the best smooth jazz available today.  Her sound reminisces back to a time long ago where artists like Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong owned the airways and the Great American Songbook was only an idea in progress.

Frank Sinatra Praises Jan Daleys Exceptional Smooth Jazz Music

In the words of the incredible Frank Sinatra, “She’s got it.”  And Jan Daley certainly does! From her success as Miss California to her USO Tours with Bob Hope to her phenomenal recently released smooth jazz albums Jan Daley certainly has what it takes.  When Sunny Gets Blue is a rendition of Great American Songbook tunes from the classic days of music.  She worked with the late Jack Segal for years to master the smooth jazz music- some of which he wrote.  Jan Daley’s praise doesn’t end here.  The great Louis Armstrong described Daley’s voice as, “big and beautiful” and as, “one of the best balanced talent blend on the boards,” by Variety.

A standout on her smooth jazz album is the title track (When Sunny Gets Blue).  Jan Daleys personal interpretation is intricate and reminiscient of the original in an incredibly beautiful way.  The years of work and personal connection with Jack Segal are clear. .
