Brian McShea and The Sidemen have done it again! Today, they’ve released a classic show tune inspired rock song welcoming the con man Mr. Elliot Davis into the world of infamy. From the raunchy distorted guitars to the screaming altissimo sax solo, “Mr. Davis, You’re Famous!” is a catalogue highlight. Brian McShea and The Sidemen are hitting the stage again this weekend at Downtown LA’s The Escondite. The Sidemen will be playing 2 sets on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) starting at 3pm with no cover! Riding off the heels of their successful single release party at Los Angeles’ infamous Hotel Café, The band’s new single, “We Don’t Wanna Hear About It”, has been getting a lot of notice from a multitude of music publications like American Pancake and CHILLFILTR. This bluesy funk alt rock pop soul outfit gives a great taste of what’s to come from their new album “Real People, Not Actors” hitting shelves this June. Jon Campos and The Incurables Win Two Silver Medals at Global Music Awards!

Great news from Jon Campos and the Incurables – this past weekend, they won two Silver Medals in the Global Music Awards! The Global Music Awards is a top-tier music competition that honors talented musicians around the world, showcasing musical gems and unique voices. It is an international competition with 35,000 musicians and bands worldwide.

The band took home the Silver Medals for Best Alternative Rock Song for “Tragic Tales & Lullabies” and Best Alternative Rock Group. Couldn’t be any more proud of these guys for winning their first Global Music laurels! Also, this past weekend, they jumped up in the rankings on Reverbnation! Now landing at #13 in National Alternative Rock and #18 in Global Alternative rock!

Armed with a crisp new sound, alternative rock band The Rift drops new EP

If you like bands like Bullet for My Valentine, Alter Bridge, or Story of The Year then you will definitely like The Rift. Armed with a crisp new sound, alternative hard rock band The Rift packs a punch with their self titled EP debut. These melodies will no doubt have you singing along and wanting more.

Although The Rift has only been together for two years, they share great chemistry on stage having made them a quite popular live band.   They have earned a reputation that has allowed them  to share the stage with bands such as: The Misfits, Exodus, Yngwie Malmsteen and Midnight Theory.

When asked, lead singer Aris Anagnos states his personal musical influences are the likes of Led Zeppelin, Metallica, 30 Seconds to Mars and Atreyu. Most of the other band members state their influences are almost identical, making the band very consistent and well suited for the alternative/hard rock music that they play. Other members of the band include Tyler Holsclaw, Matt Melamed, Tesh Hatharasinghe, and John Anagnos.
