Guess Who Charted At #6 On The Wave Last Week? My Favorite Jazz Singer Cheryl Barnes!

Guess who charted on Cleveland’s The Wave last week? My favorite jazz singer Cheryl Barnes! Not only did she make it to #6 on one of the most popular jazz radio stations, she charted at #5 on Mediabase’s Smooth Jazz list last week too. It’s so great to see one of my all time fave singers gain the recognition they deserve. Her hit new single “Come in From the Cold” (a cover of Joni Mitchell’s song) just give me chills! Cheryl’s vocals just invite you in and you can’t help but stay. I would definitely say this track goes down in my top 5 of all time. You can get it on iTunes, you won’t be disappointed!

The song is off of her new album Listen to this (also on iTunes). If you want to see more stuff from Cheryl Barnes, she has a Facebook, Twitter and ReverbNation. You can also visit her official website at www.CherylDBarnes.com.

top Album on CDBaby

My all time favorite smooth jazz bassist Mitchell Coleman Jr. is getting played on the radio all around the country! His new single “Flow” off of his debut solo album “Soul Searching” has jazz and blues fans going crazy. And I don’t blame them, the song is addictive. It’s been on repeat on my phone for I don’t even know how long. I’ve been keeping up the charts, and right now Mitchell is #40 on Mediabase’s Smooth A/C chart, #24 on SmoothJazz.com’s Radar Chart, and #1 at The Wave in Cleveland! And let’s not forget the numerous national Smooth Jazz radio stations and Billboard reporting stations that he’s getting played on too. See what everyone’s talking about and check out “Flow” on iTunes.
