Join the Jagernation with Jagertown’s New Country Single Rearview on YouTube

Fellow fans of quality and timeless country music! I’m so glad to tell y’all that the future of country is finally here! The band Jagertown is now my go-to! They’ve been around for nearly 12 years but honestly I never listened to them before and with their most recent single Rearview; honestly I’m a new resident of Jagernation!

I found a sweet video on YouTube here .  If you pre-order the Rearview EP you can get the title track for FREE on Google Play here !

Their website says they’re the National Ambassadors of the infamous Fan Fest with big names being held in Utah in July this year – Brett Eldredge is this year’s headliner! Their energy is amazing and if I could describe them more to y’all I’d say they’re kinda like Blake Shelton or a modern version of Johnny Cash, but with their own unique modern edge. Go check them out!

Rearview by Jagertown Is Changing the Country Music Game

My fellow country fans you guys are going to love this, I just heard the best break up song EVER it’s so refreshing!! It’s called Rearview by Jagertown I just heard it on this Country Music radio station, and the song has been stuck in my head all day, and I’m not even mad about it. Of course I had to find out as much as I could about the band but all I was able to find was the song is off an album from the same name that doesn’t come out till next week. But I did find a music video, which I will put right here, to help a friend out. Doesn’t this sound like the perfect mash up of Blake Shelton and some classic rock? That fiddle really makes me wish it was in all music.

Rock Artist Rhett May Releases Hit Album Creatures of the Night

Great rock music can be hard to come by. Ever since the contemporary music evolved into a more electronically focused sound, classic rock has been falling in popularity. However, likely due to his long history of playing, listening to and writing rock music, Rhett May has done an incredible job of reviving the classic psychedelic rock sound from the past.

The album plays cohesively but, at the same time, many of the songs stand alone as incredible works as well. May successfully incorporates tones of jazz, pop and funk into many of the songs as well as inklings of eastern culture. This includes various sitar lines and eastern drum instrumentation. The most distinctly multi-cultural song in the album is called “Elixir of the Gods” and it is well worth your time to take a listen. Another highlight off the album is a tune called “Back Seat of My Chevy.” This song is mid-tempo with a chugging acoustic guitar sound. May’s vocals are perfectly tailored to each song individually and it is clear that the construction of every tune and the album as a whole was carefully planned.

To get a taste of what the album has to offer, head to Noisetrade where Rhett is giving away a FREE DOWNLOAD of “Lexxi May”. If you love what you hear, then head to iTunes to get yourself a copy of the album.

Rhett Mays Creatures of the Night Brings Together Best of Western and Eastern Music

“Shadows move…darkness brings

Fearful faces…shapeless things

When the fog is thick…and the wind is cold

When the air is damp…makes them bold”

These are some of the strongest lyrics in Rhett May’s title song from his new album “Creatures of the Night.” The album is truly the peak of May’s musical career so far. His most recent album “Fast Cars and Sitars” (2015) was incredibly well received but “Creatures of the Night” has surpassed the positive feedback received two years ago. Rhett May’s songwriting and musicality are truly some of the best in the industry today. In a review by Lance Wright at GasHouseRadio, “Creatures of the Night” is described as, “involving and inventive… and the songwriting is consistently tailored to just the right length and buttressed with top flight production values. Everything about Creatures of the Night smacks of a performer and songwriter who wants to make the best possible impression on listeners.”

Wright goes on to talk about the individual songs in the album. He speaks highly of “Somebody’s Watching You,” “Latex Lady” and “Elixir of the Gods.” The latter has consistently been reviewed as a crowd favorite and does a fantastic job of incorporating the sitar and other exotic eastern instrumentation while still remaining accessible to listeners of all backgrounds. However, it is a refreshing and more unusual addition to the album.

Rhett Mays Creatures of the Night Album is Exceptional Rock Music Release

Some musical stories are more interesting than others. The story of an Englishman born in Calcutta, enlivened by the sounds of classic sixties music, transplanted to Australia by the dawn of the seventies, and then shut out of the musical ambitions he held so dear for thirty plus years before triumphantly reconnecting with that first love is the sort of tale one often finds in the movies,” said Joshua Stryde (of indiemusicreviews.net) when describing Rhett May and his incredible journey with music.

Rhett May’s newest album “Creatures of the Night” is truly one of the most exceptional albums to hit the music scene in recent years. Although undeniably a rock album, the music incorporates elements of pop, jazz, funk and psychedelic. It was absolutely May’s diverse and international life that lead him to create such a versatile and impressive album. He showcases his mastery of the guitar as well as the sitar, an instrument rarely used in rock music. In addition to creating such a phenomenal album, Rhett went the extra mile and shot a creative and gripping video to go with the title song. You can watch the video on his YouTube channel.
